PCTFE (PolyChloroTriFluoroEthylene) originally known as Kel-F and sometimes referred to as Neoflon, combines physical and mechanical properties, non-flammability, chemical resistance, near-zero moisture absorption and excellent electrical properties not found in any other thermoplastics fluoropolymer. PCTFE is a homopolymer of chlorotrifluoroethylene. PCTFE sheet has excellent rigidity, low temperature resistance, cryogenic fluid resistance, and airflow resistance.

PCTFE or CTFE (originally known as Kel-F*) has many of the properties similar to other fluoropolymers such as PTFE, FEP or PFA, but is mechanically superior in rigidity (does not deform easily), and has very low gas permeability .
